since i have picked up a 5d i need to sell either my orginal digtial rebel or my 10d. i cant decide which.

both are 6mp. i am the orginal owner of the rebel. it was a back up to the 10d and its super clean

the 10d has a battery grip but has way more use since i used it as my main camera. it was sent back once to have an error 99 fixed. there is also wear on the body and grip. not much but its noticeable.

i think i can get more for the 10d with the grip and because it is IMO a better camera than the rebel. i am thinking of selling the rebel cause by choice i used the 10d over the rebel so my orginal plan was to use the 10d as backup to my 5d.

sometimes i think that i should keep the cheap rebel and try to maximize my sale with the 10d. if one had more MP i wouldnt have such a delema.

i know i am all over the place i just am not sure what to do.

what do you all think?

If you load the Undutchables or Wasia firmware on the Rebel, it pretty much has the same features as the 10D. You could probably get the same amount for both cameras because of that fact. Actually, possibly more for the Rebel because it can take EF-S lenses, whereas the 10D can't.

I'd keep the 10D - from what I know of it, its interface is more like the 5D. So when you go back and forth between bodies, it's a no brainer.

I would sell the Rebel. Like William said. the 10D interface is more like the 5D.

Sell them both. If not, the Rebel is the first to go since the 10d is the closest to the 5D.

I second this opinion.

I kept my 10D when I got my 5D. The 10D is the closest to the 5D in color quality and the controls are almost identical.

I can pick either up and shoot it by feel, because of the control layouts.
