My question is: I know the canon speedlights are not the best suited for these and I am wondering what others use to with their pocket wizards. I am currently looking at the 383's from sunpak. What do you all use?
Thanks

I currently use a connection unit that I bought from Paramount Cords My life is like one big RAW file....way too much post processing needed.

So, connected to any of the recent Canon Speedlights (via relatively expensive adapters) all you will get is a basic manual flash mode (but nothing wrong with basic manual flash).

You'll need hotshoe adapters for them, but these adapters have threaded holes in the bottom for mounting, and you'll need a way to mount them anyway. Mar 19, 2007 22:44 | #7 Thank you guys for the help.... I was looking exactly for what you guys recommended. I already have 430ex's and 580ex's for my wedding stuff. But I don't really want to have them in the line of fire of a downhill mt biker crashing down the hill. So I am looking at picking up a few of the sunpacks or vivitars. 5d, 7d, 12-24, 17-55 2.8 IS, 28 1.8, 50 1.8, 70-200 2.8 IS, 85 1.8, 100 2.8 macro
