A540 Continuous Shooting Mode

My wife has the Powershot A540. She loves to use the continuous shooting mode. We just came back from a whale watch trip and she used it a lot.

The problem with it is that we cannot figure out if there is a way to keep the camera in this mode even if it is powered down.

Now, everytime she turns it off (or it powers down by itself) she has to go reset it to shoot in a continuous fashion.

Is it possible to keep the continuous shooting mode on, even after shutdown?

Thanks

Ken

I dont think so, maybe if you have it in manual mode. I have a A550 and it resets when I power off. But then again all I have to do is hit the shooting mode button twice and its back to continuous. I'm not sure how the A540 differs from the A550 though, they might be a bit different.
