It is possible to record movies longer than 30/120 sec.
with the IBM 1GB microdrive? Settings?
There's a table on www.powershot.com/powe​rshot2/G2/specs.html (external link).

No, that is not possible. The length of the movie is limited by internal buffer memory of the camera.
