Those are really pretty TD! I especially love the first one...(and am very sad that I didn't make it to the Bandon part of the shoot)...I could almost smell the sea air with that one!

Thank you both! I really had fun.

I'm also really enjoying seeing everyone else's "take" on a subject. Maybe we should consider creating a thread for our meet where we each post our shot of a particular thing. I'm always trying to learn and seeing other perspectives is huge for me.

I think it would be fun to do some sort of intentional shooting. I don't want to call it a competition (ick!) but rather an assignment. I've just started thinking about this, so I'll say more when it's more clear in my head.

Thanks again for taking the time to give feedback. I really appreciate it!

Heading to the Oregon Coast next week - where is Bandon in relation to say Newport or Lincoln City?

Great shots by the way.

Nice shots TD. My wife and I were through Bandon and Coos bay eight years ago on a vacation, beautiful coast line. Of coarse it rained most of the trip and that was in June.

Thanks. It's about 120 miles south of Newport. The route we took for this trip was I-5 to Hwy 101 via Hwy 20 at Newport then south to Bandon. There are 2 lighthouses in Newport, 1 between Newport and Florence and 2 between Coos Bay & Bandon. It's a great trip.

Dang - we are staying in a house in Nehalem which is quite a bit North of Bandon from your description, not sure if I am up for that much more driving once we get there! :-) Bandon may have to be on another trip when we can focus more on the Southern Coastal areas.

Nice shots you got there, Chris! I'm just now starting to cull through mine, picking out the keepers.

How many of you were together for this shoot? Just curious. Did you take a group shot of all of you?

Nice shots T.D I really like the tight shot of the coquille lighthouse. Sometime we need to have a boring salem (and surrounding area) RRTP meet :)
