I just noticed that Alienbee now has collapsible softboxes and octaboxes. Has anyone got one yet? What's the quality & usability like?

Mar 21, 2007 15:44 | #4 It would seem to me that the octabox would give a softer light (bigger surface) but would make it harder to constrain the light. A soft box directs the light a little more...a lot more if you have a grid insert (not sure if AB has softbox grids.) Instructor at The Canadian Photography Learning Centre
