1st is over sharpened on my monitor
second is too dark

I can't really comment on #2, but #1 is very intriguing.

There is a similar mess recently built just south of Richmond. VA.
Your highlights are borderline too hot, and it looks like there is a lot of sky and foreground dirt that should have been placed lower in the tonal scale.

However, the people enhance the interest and provide scale, and the lines make for an interesting picture. Good composition!

Congratulations! I like it and would like it better had it been possibe to get more detail in the highlights and shadows.
