It's kinda too dark for me... may be it's just my monitor?

Call me Ima - it should be pronounced EEMA, not AYMA :D

It does´nt show up dark here. I only use my laptop though so it may show up dark on crt´s. It is supposed to be a little dark though, only one light source and a low key attempt. Attaching my lighting setup for those who are interested.

Looks alright to me. Got a dark sheet or something you can put behind you to cover the clutter?

Did you lose Digital Photo Professional (DPP)? Get it here (external link). Cursing at your worse-than-a-map reflector? Check out this vid! (external link)

Thanks for the comment cdifoto, I tried to cover most of it with a dark fabric. But it was not big enough to cover it all :( Thin I need to try another angle next time :) so the shelf is not visible at all :)

If that wall to our left (your right) is big enough and plain enough, you could use that. If you can get far enough in front of it, the light falloff will make it dark naturally.

To make it really dark (nearly black or actually black), get yourself as far in front of it as you can. 5+ feet if possible. That way light falloff is maximized and only on you as a subject.
