I'm new to this camera and any other kind of camera, so I also am not that good with shutter speeds etc. When I got to change shutter speed it says 1" 1"3 1"6 etc. If someone could help me out I would be very much appreciated and it would make my photos 1000x better. JustShootin' Senior Member  820 posts Joined Jan 2007 Location: South Florida More info | I've never even held this model camera before, but from all the specs I have read on it, it doesn't appear to have complete manual control over shutter speed and aperture. Not sure, but I would bet what's being called manual mode only gives you control over ISO, and maybe exposure and flash compensation. Gary
