I was wondering if the Umbrella Universal Swivel Holder can he screwed onto a 1/4 threaded tripod rather than a traditional light stand? That would my my Slik Sprint Pro super versitile. I wonder how long I have to hang out on POTN before I get as good as Ansel Adams ?

For an inexpensive bit of kit its been working well for me so far (im mostly testing and learning at this point).
