I had been looking for stand and umbrella as well but forgot to mention.

Stand

Softbox

Is softbox good or its too big for the flash and umbrella would be better?

Thanks!

I am thinking of getting similar stuff from B&H. I was wondering if the Umbrella Universal Swivel Holder can he screwed onto a 1/4 threaded tripod rather than a traditional light stand? That would my my Slik Sprint Pro super versitile.

Yes, the umbrella holder comes with the adapter to go on top of the tripod. But with the tripod, the umbrella can not be raised high enough sometimes.

I have pretty much the same 'umbrellabox' and my metz 54 is not overwhelmed by it so long as you watch distance to subject. For an inexpensive bit of kit its been working well for me so far (im mostly testing and learning at this point).
