Actually, no. 10D with a new lens that I just got yesterday. I just haven't really had a chance to put it to good use yet, though. I walked the tracks for about 1 hour yesterday, but no train - until I got home and heard it in the distance.

I don't have an A80, but I do have an S-400 which I like quite a bit.

Speak of the 24-70 F2.8L lens, eh? Well, I have some pics taken with it. Here they are from Ireland...

The more experience I have with the 24-70L, the more I love mine. When I see what others are doing with theirs, it just reinforces my opinion.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Baseball? And all along I thought that little mouse was an ice hockey mascot. Man, you learn something new every time in this wonderful forum. 8)

BTW, Tom, all that greenery looks lovely to my eyes. I'm getting so tired of all the brown, drabby colors around here. Green "stuff" is starting to grow around here, too, but it isn't growing fast enough for me.

Canuck - the Ireland countryside is really nice - so vast and open. I hope to get there some day.

Tom (Thom) - I don't have much mileage on it yet, but I'm liking the 24-70 so far. I appreciate that extra range on the wide end.

Leo - things are just starting to green up around here. Now if we could just get some rain...

Tom W,
These aren't the best of them as they are jpegs! Would you Adam and Eve it? (Ok, slight explaination for Non British people: The last sentence about "...Adam and Eve it?" is called Cockney rhyming slang. What it should be is "...would you believe it?" The East Central Londoners came up with this code of sorts to disguise what is meant. Here is another example: How's the trouble and strife? (sometimes cut to how's the strife) and that is supposed to be "how's the wife?" Here are a few links to check out for more. I think it is rather amusing...
http://www.phespirit.info/cockney/ (external link) (info on how it got started)
http://www.aldertons.com/english-.htm (external link) (the words/how they came to be)
http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A649 (external link)
http://www.cockneyrhymingslang.co.uk/ (external link)
Beyond that look up "Cockney Rhyming Slang with your favourite search engine.

Of course how could I forget my personal favourite whilst on the topic of UK bits: http://www.llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch.co.uk (external link) and yes it is a real town in Anglesey, Wales!

The lens is starting to grow on me - I got out for some pictures yesterday evening while we still had some sun. I think that an hour earlier would have given ideal light as the shadows were pretty long when I got these shots.

Downtown, Chattanooga from a new angle:
