Is it possible to send your camera just to get a service? I've taken so many pictures in the last 6 months, I just want to make sure it's ok

It's probably not worth it for an A620; the way new models are coming out and prices are falling, by the time it dies, you'll be able to get a better camera for the same or less. Right now the A630's around where tyhe A620 was when I got it; and a servicing may well cost about half that. Jon

Equipment: Canon PowerShot A650IS (semi retired) and Canon Powershot G10 (primary) and Rebel XT 350D w/18-55mm kit lens and Quanterey 18-200mm-- www.youtube.com/alexander1485
