Hello Everyone, i'm currently looking at buying a used set of pocket wizard Classic's but I can't find much information on them and I want to make sure there compatible with my 30D and 580EX? I was going to buy a Canon ST-E2 but I figured these older Pocket wizards might be the better buy especially being cheaper price wise. I did search but really couldn't find anything on these older units. If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

OH yeah im looking at these because im on a budget.

The original PW exhibits "latching" when used with a digital camera. It will not fire or sporadically fire making it useless. I loved the smaller size compared to the following generation, but you will not find them reliable.
