Hi All
I am looking at investing in some strobes or monolights for a small home studio as well as location shoots. I current have a Canon 30D, with various lenses ranging from Canon 2.8L down to lower models. I also use a 580ex and 430ex flashes with various homemade modifiers ( diffusers/reflectors etc )

I need some lights that i can operate both in the USA (120V) and Australia (240V) as i tend to travel between the two countries quite a bit. I am new to using monos and strobes and realize there will be a learning curve but i am hoping to strike a sweetspot between easing that curve and being reasonably priced.

I tend to shoot mainly portraiture and artistic concepts and dont envisage using the lights to cover vast areas ( like large studios etc )

Any advice you can provide on the best lighting would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to your replies and thank you in advance
