Was taking some pics at my sister's place and as I was leaving decided to snap a few of her RAV 4.
Let me know what you think.

I love the colors in the foreground and background; I just wish there were fewer distracting elements.

Looks great! Is that an add on background? Or just multi pic combined together? Because on the left where the side mirror is, I kind of see a house but can't figure out if that grey part is the old sky or part of the roof. And after seeing that house, the power line structure in the sky looks way too high

Thanks for the comments, guys!

Yeah, I took one shot of the car and, of course, the sky was blown out in that so I snapped another a few stops under for the sky. Just combined the two with masks in PS. Took a little bit of work because they were hand held so they didn't line up properly.

Are you referring to the house in the reflection on the door? The whiter part above the house there would be the blown out sky. I didn't really have the patience (or skill for that matter) to try and fix that.

The power line support is actually there at that height. The land does rise up the back there.

Is that the original color of the sky? It doesn't match the refletion on the car. Th sky does look good though :)

Mitsu, as mentioned, the exposure for the car blew out the sky which is why the reflection is a grey/white. All I did to the sky exposure was play with curves to increase the contrast and saturation.

What would a crop look like taking off one inch from the left and one inch from the bottom, i.e. losing the wheels and almost up to the left foglight? Can't do it here as at work at the moment

Yeah, does it look any better? Not sure it does after looking at it for a while.

It has it's appeal. I think it gives it a bit more of a cleaner look. Helps to cut out some of the distractions in the background and reflections on the side. But I think I would still prefer to see the whole car in spite of those things.

It's good because of less distraction, but I think the first image has more of an aggressive stance to the car, still it made a good debate didn't it :)

You did a good job...not perfect for all but a good job. It's not boring.

Good work! Except that I think I cut my eyeballs on the contrast! :D

The only thing that bothers me, is that tree in in the background, I think the shot would be much cleaner without it.
