Yes! Yet another session with my favorite model and sister-in-law. Used Canon XT with kit lens and external flash unit. I know there are hot spots on the wall - not a mistake.

Well aren't you the lucky (oops: Edit... that should be sister/sister-in-law) Brother-In-Law! A beautiful model that works cheaply (I presume?).

On my monitor, it shows there is a greenish cast to your images. All the images look just slightly underexposed. It may just be my monitor though. If there really is too much green, it should be easy to remove in Photoshop if you want to.

your husband is a lucky guy. a beautiful wife and a beautiful sister. nice photos. they look a little soft to me. have you tried using the unsharp mask? sometimes helps. keep up the good work.

I'm pretty sure that lilbloo is a woman...

See this thread.

Or you could go by the avatar ;)

These shots are in the same style as the ones posted in the above thread. I like the color cast personally.

Hmm! You pose a very convincing argument (not about the greenish cast, about the gender). This thread puts it beyond all doubt. CLICK HERE My apologies to Lilbloo. Although, she is from Absurdistan so you never know :-D

I make no assertions about the goodness or badness of the cast; only that it is there. I think it makes the images look a little like some of my old prints (not that that is a bad thing either). It might be the look she was going for.

Now we come to the vexing question; Is this person her brother's wife or her husband's sister? I'm going for husband's sister.

LOL! You guys are a riot. So, I am a girl (no offense taken); Mary is my husband's sister; the green hue is done purposely; the under/over exposicion is done deliberately....I guess that's my niche =)

Thank you guys!

Well how do you explain the "grunge" look. Oh wait a minute...my daughter just sneezed on my monitor :-D Wait 'til I just wipe that off here....<sounds of wiping cloth doing its thing> Ah! That's better! Hey it got rid of some of the greenish hue too :-)

wow, she'd make a great model for a gothic theme. The bone structure in the face, demure size and those great big eyes. Nice pics.

Brilliant, brilliant portraits!!!! I especially like the slanty number 4. I'm quite a portrait virgin and these are how I want my portraits to look.
