The first one is great with the boat and wave in the foreground.

Very nice. I like the shot with the boat...and the splash in the wave. Maybe correct the horizontal, and clone out the little distraction in the top left of the wave. Otherwise, very nice balance.

Sorry, they don't do anything for me. the light is a bit harsh, due largely to the fact that it is too close to the middle of the day. Also, while the first one tries to get some foreground interest, there's too much competition from the buoys. Also, no real focal point in either image. the sky looks blown out in the second image.

Thanks for your input - you're right it was 1PM and the sun was extremely hash... for the boat picture, I cloned out the buoys and I think I like it better that way.
