Not a very interesting shot but the curves of the trunk and its colors caught my eye. Any comments welcome. Thanks.

neat tree, a portrait shot would have been better I think.
it extends too close to the top and is cut off.

Poorly exposed picture. You basically exposed for the shadows instead of for your subject. The background/sky is extremely over exposed. Try partial metering next time and take the time to view different exposure possibilities.

Just plain boring to me


2 EOS 1 mkII Dn's, 24-70 2.8L,70-200 2.8L,14 prime 2.8L,100 macro 2.8, metz, metz, and more metz...plus a whole load of other stuff that really is unimportant. It all about the picture, not the tool.
Had the 1ds for a few weeks then realised was overkill. Bought 5d and the 400mm instead.
