This is my crested gecko, i think its the flash reflection that spoils it.....advice welcome....

obviously try shooting against a non reflecting background and bounce the flash off the ceiling.

Geckos are soooo cute!

Might look nice in black and white if you can remove that nasty burnt-in flash reflection.

I would shoot him/her from the side view, to me it would add more to the image to see the eyes, also would suggest a more natural looking BG.:D

i have a few from the side....unfortunatly its not easy coz they jump alot and with him being a baby still, i dont want to harm himself just coz i want a photo

Good shot, but would get down very low and get a few head on and 3/4 shots from the front, as well as a few profile shots. Try shooting on a less reflective surface as well.
