Went to Brands Hatch yesterday for my circuit racing season opener.

Almost didn't make it due to a nasty stack on the M25 which closed 2 junctions, at one point there was 18 miles of stationary traffic. A quick detour onto the A10 then A13 then back onto the London Orbital and we were there for just after 8am. One hot breakfast later and the action started.

It started off clear but dry and cold, but soon clouded over and any heat the sun was radiating soon disappeared and it stayed awesomely cold for the rest of the day. Stayed until about 5pm as I'm not sure I could get any colder!

Anyway, here's some pics. Kit as usual is 20D+ 70-200 EX + 120-300 (and sometimes 1.4x TC).

What better way to start a thread and open the new circuit racing season with a slow shutter pan?

Yeah it was turned out nicely. There were a few nicely turned out Porkers and some sheds, seems to be the norm for the Porsche Open series - I guess budgets vary wildly.

#2 (Porker). Blinding shot mate, flames are something that always seem to elude me. :)

I know...I originally titled it as a 996 and then realised it had the bolt on arches.
