I am looking into picking up a light meter pretty soon and was looking for advice. I do weddings and portraits (in studio, with some location work) I currently have an Alien Bee B800, and 2 Sigma Super flashes, and am interested in simplifying and nailing down my flash/strobe technique. I want to pick up a Sekonic L-758DR at the end of the day, but I'm not able to shell out $500 right now for a meter, and was going to start out using one of their "lesser" models to get my feet wet and then I figured I cold reclaim some $$ by selling when the time comes for the 758.
What do you all think of these 2? Give me the lowdown if you will...
Sekonic L308
and
Sekonic L358
Thanks in advance,
Michael
