Website Idea, feedback please

It is a test page for a redesign of a website I have been playing around with.

The idea is to have a community build database of photographic opportunities. A sort of quick reference to outdoor (mostly) photographic areas.

For example, I am spending 3 days in Indianapolis on a business trip, so where can I go to shoot when I am not in meetings? What cool things are close?

My goal is to put together a site so that people who have that question about someplace in Ohio, can find an answer. Plus locals who might have missed a hidden gem.

So what do you think? Am I wasting my time? Would such a resource be useful?

p.s. be kind, it is a Beta test page, I know there are some errors, and the navigation system has to be improved.

Nice idea. And, FYI, a good place to go in Indianapolis during the warmer months is White River Gardens. They have an exotic butterfly exhibit at the Hilbert Conservatory.

I didn't get alot of feedback, but I am going with the idea anyways.
