This was as close as I could get to the flower and obtain focus. That was the easy part. The hard part was having to lay on my belly and my dog thinking this was a great time to play!

I agree with everyone else. great pic.

I really wish this lens could macro, it doesnt however...as such i'm stuck with whta i've got. Which isnt much.

Oh well though right ;-)a

To Timmyquest: You're right, it would be great if it were a macro, but it does a pretty good job for closeups. Maybe one of these days I will convince myself that I should spend what it takes to buy a good macro.

Here, a shot with 1.8 MKII with a +3 diopter (100% crop):

I still want much more macro... I suppose I'll get the Tamron 90, or if I finally snap, the Canon MP-E 65 1-5 macro. :mrgreen:

5D and holy trinity of primes. Now the 90mm TS-E TS-E fly bit me. I hate these forums.
