Hi Guys, Here's a couple of pics from the Border counties rally,comments welcome as i really struggled with panning on the 70-200 is lens.Also could anyone help me with shutter speed settings 4 circuit racing as i'm going to brands 4 the 1st round of btcc.

Hi Phil, nice pics. You won't go far wrong with a shutter speed of around 1/320 - 1/250for cars on the track IMO. Try a little higher to start off and lower it once you get the hang of it.:D

Hi Phil,

For you first pic (106) try a slightly higher shutter speed than 1/200 for a 3/4 shot, as Kev says try about 1/320 and you shouldn't be far off. As for circuit racing take a look at glenns images https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthre​ad.php?t=294916 some of his panning shots are at 1/85 :confused: he should give you some good tips

Thanks for putting me on to glenns images,i'll be so happy if i could get my pics to be so sharp like this.Thanks for the tip on the higher shutter speeds.I'll try that this weekend at brands.If your heading down there,hopefully i'll bump into a few p.o.t.n people.
