Hi, if you guys are looking for the best price of canon ef 28-135mm IS lens in canada, here is what I found out:

http://www.thecamerastore.com: (external link) $699.95 (in calgary)

http://www.mcbaincamera.com: (external link) $799 (in calgary, no GTS, May only)

http://www.simonscameras.com (external link) $669 (in Montreal)

http://www.downtowncamera.com: (external link) $729 (in toronto)

buy it from mcbain.com, ask them to PM thecamerastore.com (they don't PM stores outside of Ablerta) since they don't charge GST/PST (total is about $712 include shipping) OR buy it from simonscameras.com (no PST, and lower price, total is $669 + GST $47 + shipping = $726).

mcbaincamera.com has 14 days refund and 30 days exchange policy simonscameras.com has 14 days refund and 14 days exchange policy

if you find any better deals, please post it here.

Thanks

I'm in the US and I just bought one from Inter Pro Photo in Vancouver for $410 US.

I highly recommend them because of the great service they provided during a fiasco that just happened (my fault, yet they went out of the way to resolve the issue).

Ask for Steve and you'll get great help. Tell him I sent you :-)

Their number is 609-669-4541

Jeff

Thanks...but too late, i just received my order from SimonsCamers.com...CAD$669.95, about CAD $20 more, but I already got it. BTW the list price is US $455, not US$410 on Inter Pro Photo.
