Here's my 1st. feeble attempt on panning. These shots were taken at an Auto-X event at Giants Stadium. I don't really know what I'm doing, so any comments & criticisms are welcomed!! BTW, the shutter was at 1/80 on all the shots. Thanks!

I see jaggies (got to re-edit).

I know the car is cut-off, but I had to post this pic. The FD3S is my dream car.

Your composition is the best on the last one, but it is probably the weakest panning. The rest have some great panning, but the composition needs some work. Keep it up!

Great shots! Your first time? I doubt it... haha just coz they look so good!!! :)
The cars are so sharp, loved it! But with 1/80 thats quite a slow shutter... you handled that VERY well thou!

And yea FD is the best looking one i reckon! :)
Keep it up!

^ Thanks for the kind words. The shots above were taken at the end of the day. You should see the very 1st. shots of the day. They look like Picasso paintings. After a couple of shots (more like 150), I started to get into the groove of panning! It's fun stuff! Can't wait until this weekend's auto-x. Now the question is, how am I going to take pics while running the coarse. hmm..

But once you in it, its all good, fun stuff as u said!
Good luck at the auto-x.

I like #2 the best. I think you did well. The car is positioned well in the frame for my taste. You've left room in front, for the car to move thru the frame.
