Interesting story behind this guy. We have several red tails in a preserve near our home. We are out there almost every weekend and I bring my gear but have never been able to get a good shot of the red tail. Anyway, this weekend we went hiking and on the way back decided to stop for breakfast. Out in a tree, sat this guy, in the middle of a huge shopping center parking lot. I drove right up too it and snapped a few pics. Too bad it was so foggy and not a nice beautifully blue sky but they came out ok I think.

Congratulations on these nice captures. A little fill flash would have helped counteract the bright sky.

Nicely done, good detail. Does it have a cord attached to it??

Yup, that's the way it goes. I think the rain brought out the colors more. :)

Thanx, If I had only known, I would have packed the flash, but alas, only the pop up was available and I wasn't that close.

Thanx, he was carrying some cord. I though at first it was attached to his leg, but when he left, he snatched up up and flew off. Maybe he was redecorating. :)

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p
