Skull faced leaf hopper

I noticed there have been a few threads as of late where the bugs have had what appeared to be markings looking like a human skull.
Well this is no exception, this leaf hopper was tiny to say the least and difficult to shoot, couldn't get hit to give me a profile shot, everytime I would turn the camera to try he would keep facing the camera.
Oh well the shot speaks for itself.

Interesting markings - good shot- agree these little critters are hard to photograph- they normally run around the other side of the leaf when I go near them

Yup, good shot. I've had the same experience with them, as soon as you look at them they run. Or at least I hope that's what it is

Looks like you've nailed the focus perfectly, even though the DOF is razor thin.

Yeah DOF is very thin, but unfortunately it can't be helped without sacrificing something. I had been trying to get a profile shot of this little guy, but was unsuccessful.
I had the lens set on f/11
I wish the pics were as crisp as what Brian gets with his images, he never ceases to amaze me with his shots.
