well i am realy new at this staf. saved money and go my self a canon 400d for £450. and i read lots of staf from the internete and magazins i got this camera about a week and i took some pics and i like you 2 give me some advice this are my pics
i use the lens that came with the camera the 18-55m and a some that i use an old lens of a friend of mine thats 70-300mm i think

Hi and welcome to POTN. You have some interesting pictures there, but you might not get a lot of people to look. People are a little shy about going to a link that is in a new members first post. Lots of spammers out there and lots of not so good websites either. Try posting a shot or two in the various sharing sections above....you will probably get more input that way.

Nice work on the gateway and the flower.

The water looks like oil. Neat effect.

With the first shot (IMG_0906), try a larger aperture to get more depth of field. The subject (or at least what I assume to be the subject) seems to fade into the background too quickly.

thx dudes and for the IMG_0906 well i have some test pics of it with a a larger Av but i like that one beter for some reason and that tree is very small i made in my note book.
