How many buisness cards do you go through in a year?

edit (this is with regard to wedding photography)

I only give out my business card to anyone who asks for it, so it's not that many. But if you plan on having the clients to spread the word, add 5-10 business cards in each package when you deliver your final order.

I didn't use to hand out a lot because they were hideous and embarrassing, but I plan to hand out a ton more now that I have what I consider a real design and quality print.

I hand out cards to anyone who asks me..and I include them in almost all transactions...then, we do a bridal show and I give out a ton there...I try to have them always handy to give out.

we use them at weddings by the laptop slideshow with instructions on how to view and order images, so its dependant on the number of weddings we shoot.

trying to decide how many to buy?

I like to order in small quantities from overnightprints.com and personalize them for the wedding or the vendor or whoever they are going to.

yeh, I've been quoted £69(GBP) for 1000 or £93(GBP) for 2000.

I'm thinking that I might as well go for more as it'll work out cheeper overall.
