Used 1D II's at B&H?

Hi all....

Has anyone taken advantage of this apparent steal of a deal?

I inquired the used dept. and they say the cameras are factory sealed from canon, and are like new, which leads me to think they are refurbs, but they still list them as 10 for condition, rather than R.

Anyone with feedback about this particular deal? I'm currently camera-less and need one before the April 7th... - this looks to be a deal I shouldn't miss.

Adorama has the 20D referbs for $2400.

Yeah, 1D2. My bad.

For $2,600, I would rather pay a little more and get a 1D Mark II N or less and pick up used 1D Mark II for $1,900-$2,200 on the forums.

I have seen several new 1D2n(s) on eBay for under $3000.

Ah, so you're the guy who snatched it. I saw that and came back a few hours later, ready to buy and it was gone.

I contacted the used department to see what comes with it, if it was just a body or what. They said they come just like a new one, sealed by canon.

That being said, I just found an awesome local deal...a bit more used, but for $1800 Can. Time to go check it out...

Snatched it from me as well.. Ended up purchasing a II N off a studio guy via Ebay for $2,500 though..
