i hope this is the right section.
well i am realy new at this staf. saved money and go my self a canon 400d for £450. and i read lots of staf from the internete and magazins i got this camera about a week and i took some pics and i like you 2 give me some advice this are my pics
i use the lens that came with the camera the 18-55m and a some that i use an old lens of a friend of mine thats 70-300mm i think

A lot of your pictures look overly dark. I don't know if this is an intentional effect or not, but in terms of, say, the ducks on the water pictures, it makes the subject (ducks) hard to see and thus the photo loses interest.

Also, you'd probably get better critique (from people more knowledable than I) if you posted one or three images at a time in one of the photo sharing sections, or the Critque corner section.
