Well, my wife just called. Brown just dropped off the 100-400 IS at the house.:D I'll probably take a look at it tonight, but it will be about a week before I really put it through its' paces. (I'd have waited another week to order, but I wanted to get the order in before the B&H Shutdown).

Congrats. That was nice of your wife, that wouldn't have happened to me, my wife would have probably hidden it ;)

The wife is getting back at me. She let me handle it when I got home, but is masking me put it up until my b-day - about another week. I think that is cruel!! But I love her anyhow, she pretty much lets me get what I want. Next is a 24-105, then 100 macro, then 300 2.8.

At least I won't have a good chance to use it before then. In the meantime, I will live through you guys. So close, yet do far!

And yes, wives do know about B&H.

When I found out my 70-200 2.8 IS was being delivered yesterday I took a vacation day just to meet brown at the door. Yesterday was trash pick-up day and every truck sound I was peering out the window. It was a long day.....:D
