Mar 29, 2007 21:13 | #3 The DOF of these two shots make the ripples in the background almost look like they are painted in with a brush. This is the kind of stuff you just cannot get with a P&S. 50D, Tamron 28-75 f2.8, Canon 70-200 f2.8L, Kenko 1.5x Extender, Sigma EF-500 DG ST + Fong Dong

I would love to have the f4L IS or even the F4L non-IS but I have to have the f2.8 for the indoor sports stuff that I have been and will be shooting. At this point I just cannot justify two lenses with the same focal lengths. Besides if the $1100 f2.8L cannot get a good shot then it must be me. 50D, Tamron 28-75 f2.8, Canon 70-200 f2.8L, Kenko 1.5x Extender, Sigma EF-500 DG ST + Fong Dong

Turtles were in the pond, came out for some sun when I was about to leave and I spotted them. There are a boat load of geese there that act like your not even there. I had plenty of oppurtunity to shoot cause the place is just crawling with life. 50D, Tamron 28-75 f2.8, Canon 70-200 f2.8L, Kenko 1.5x Extender, Sigma EF-500 DG ST + Fong Dong
