Thank you all for the warm welcome, and the nice comments. Please tell me what you think of these two. The first one is my friend kitty squirrel. The snow in the background was so bright that I tried to fill the frame with kitty. The second one I have mixed feelings about. Is it too formal and boring?

getting the rest of the squirrel would be a little better in the first.
