Best photo I have out of about 4, from the same day. Certainly not the most amazing of photos.
I was rushing in the morning, forgot to pack my 70-300mm. Was stuck with just my 50mm. Big mistake, I know.
The cheetahs would not come any closer, and you couldn't see them anywhere other than through this window. The sun was also behind them, so I struggled for a bit with that.
So with that said, I am happy with the photo. I definitely need to go again soon though to improve.

This female walked straight out o the bush and up to the car. Just when i thought it would be prudent to put the windows up in case she attacked she lay down about two metres from the car and gave herself a bath. The weirdest but most breathtaking big cat experience by far.

One of his females caught us unawares from behind and I had about 3 seconds to swing round with my 500 f4 and grab this shot before she disappeared silently back into the bamboo thicket.

Here are a couple of pictures from the Lujan Zoo in Buenos Aires, Argentina (you're able to get in the cage with them and touch them.. pretty cool experience. I think at the time I was using a Canon Xti and the kit lens.
