I have an Epson 1280 and am looking for a good heavy matte paper.

Is anyone using a good paper that renders good color using the Epson inks ?
If so is a custom profile for the paper essential?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Epson velvet fine art paper is pretty sweet.

but look through www.atlex.com (external link) and www.inkjetart.com (external link) and see all that they offer. Tons of choices

hannaxt, I use the Ilford Gallerie "Smooth Fine Art" paper with my Epson R1800 and people are constantly commenting on the results. I love it too (needless to say). It's impossible to buy off the shelves here in Perth, Australia in A3+ size, but I'm sure you'll find it.

Cheers,

Simon....
