Depends what you consider painful

My mistaken recollection - I was thinking of a place of nettles, but got it wrong. It's where you try to catch pigs with a fishing net.;)

Im looking like a non event. Feeling very flat and uninspired at the moment. I must be in a photographer doldrums.
Might go to the doctors next week and get some blood tests. I am always feeling zapped of energy. Beroca and iron tablets are helping but they just dont last.

after all this time you have been going on about missing a outing and now you are going to bail. perhaps this is what you need, hang out with some other photographers for a while to get your photographer in out again ?

Sure, Steve - it would be great to have you join us.

Do you need/want to hook up with other Aucklanders and travel together?

Steve
I'll have plenty of room, I live in Manukau and would be looking to head away just before 9 if you wish.
Plenty of off-street parking, no need to worry about fuel.

Im at work at present and probably wont get a chance to get back to a computor until late this afternoon. PM me for address etc if you want, I'll be home about 5pm today.

Cheers

Im still in half minds.

If you are travelling alone - when you and the traffic choose.

If you are sharing - ask the others in the car during the day.

If you don't do the Falls (that you put forward), you could be home by 2pm. But as you say you don't photograph men, children, pets, macro.., you may as well not come to Thames.

If you honour your bravado, you'll do the falls at least from the bottom, and still be on you way back by 4.30. Others may find more to photograph and stay longer.

Personally, I hope you step out of your comfort zone and come, and go along with the group, at least to some extent.
