Thanks, much appreciated. I admit I do prefer kite photos with woodland background, although it may make the photo a little 'busy', I think it's a good idea sometimes to show the bird in its natural environment.

Great shots, love the redkite where were they taken gigrin is my closest place i think to guarentee seeing them although some have been seen telford way fingers crossed :D

2nd for me too. The woodland colours really complement the Kite.

In the 1st one, the background is more of a distraction; still a nice shot though. ;)

I too am interested in where these were taken? They remind me of Knowl Hill, which isn't far from me, and has loads of Kites.
