Took a short trip to Wilshire to visit Stonehenge but could not see it for the fog, thick and soupy so went on the Avebury instead. Thes are a few of the pics taken.

Use Canon 10D, 40D, 1D Mk1, 2 & Mk4 plus a 1Ds and 5D Mk2. Canon lenses (fav 24-105 f4L). Nikon D2HS and Fuji X Pro 1 & 2. Love um all :lol:

You didn't miss much by missing out stonehenge to be honest. However, you got some great shots from Avebury, especially the first one. A touch more contrast would probably give these a bit more snap, but some great compositions there.

Very nice images, I've been there when it's been misty and cold and the atmosphere is quite 'spooky'!

Have to agree on the first one - great shot.

Stonehenge is a bit of a tourist trap these days, everyone walking around in a big circle around the stones. (many) Years ago you could climb on them!
