What do you guys think?
How can I make my smugmug / site better?
Is everything categorized properly? One thing I wish I could do is have my photos laid out like on flickr, where you go to my site, and you see all the photos, and just have to scroll through pages, don't have to enter galleries or anything.
What about the theme? I don't really like it, but can't code CSS. I wonder if somebody bored would want to create me theme(s) (one for everything, or gallery specific) for a few bucks, but I dunno.
Oh, and if there are any photos that you think stand out, or in general have anything to comment on, let me know!

Updated it, changed the style to traditional, looks a little more flickrish like, however, I do not like how it opens Original / full res photos now.
Is there anyway to disable the save photo option? I realize with original there it wouldn't do much, but I don't really like it there.

I like the work overall.

Are you asking how to disable right-click and save/original?

If so, enter the admin mode, go to the gallery, select the photo tools, then you get to set those. They sound upside down; pick the help screen, it makes it more clear. I think the two options are [original = N] and [protect = Y]

Use their watermarking as well; very, very nice feature.

Is the watermarking automatic? Not sure where to use that feature. I don't want to have it to apply it to every photo 1 by 1 though.

You've got some nice work there.

Check out this thread: http://www.dgrin.com/forumdisplay.php?f=27 (external link)

Smugmug has a rather helpful customization thread - and sometimes they will even do the work for you. If you want the email of a guy that does Smugmug customiztions I may be able to dig one up...

I didn't use him - I keep thinking that I can do that - if I could just get some spare time. It's really not that difficult.

Here's his site: http://jrphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/1448761 (external link)

And his Smugmug site: http://www.jrphotos.smugmug.com/ (external link)

It does look nice.

You can customize it pretty easily if you refer to that dgrin forum... I am totally clueless about web code css, html.. or whatever its, and I created my page just by reading tutorials.. I did ask a question on the forum and someone was very kind to help me out... You can read through other threads to find answers to your questions too.

Doesn't take more than a few hours, or days depending on how quick you learn... :)

I took a couple days and did it intermittently so I wouldn't get frustrated. I still need lots of fine-tuning, but it's a start... :)

Keep Reading!! You can do it... If I can figure it ou ANYONE can!! :)

Yes, it is automatic.

You can add, remove, replace watermarks for entire galleries easily.

Gallery tools, there's a selection box for the watermark; you can make your own; there's a link for help there.
