Still using the EOS 10D and can see no real reason to change at present. It is a solid workhorse that produces excellent high quality images and. touch wood, has never let me down, in fact thinking of picking up another as a backup. Any opinions.

Use Canon 10D, 40D, 1D Mk1, 2 & Mk4 plus a 1Ds and 5D Mk2. Canon lenses (fav 24-105 f4L). Nikon D2HS and Fuji X Pro 1 & 2. Love um all

I like mine. The only thing I don't like is the slow wait time to view images on the screen.

Yes I admit that can be a pain but I rarely review on the screen, just wait til I download to the puter. It a great camera that get slagged off but its better that the 350 IMO

The 10D is a smashing camera, I upgraded to a 1dmkII last year there is a world of difference in speed, features, noise is lower and it is more solid, but there is not a great deal of difference in IQ I can tell the difference betweeen the shots but its a colour difference only as for feel and solidness, the 10D really holds up well (with the grip). Enjoy it its a great machine

I still have my 10d. Really fantastic workhorse. I skipped the 20d, 30d but I think there might be a MKIII in my future. :)

I still use my 10D that I purchased in July 2003 and just picked up a refurbished 10D in January as a 2nd / backup. It's great being able to have a different lens on each camera, ready to go with both cameras being similar.

My goal was to upgrade to a 5D but seeing I don't make a lot of money from my photography, I decided a second 10D at a fraction of the cost, was a much better alternative at this time. What really convinced me was a package of 11x14 prints I recieved the day I was very seriously considering hitting the "Order the 5D" button!

Still have a 5D on the wish list for down the road but for now these 10D's will get a work out.

I don't notice the slow wait time for the images, I don't usually view them unless I have the time. Also have never missed a shot because of the slow startup time of the 10D. Guess we're all different!

I love my 10D! I've had mine from new since august 2003. Was hoping to upgrade soon, but budget won't allow at present....
But in the meantime it's great. Start-up lag doesn't bother me, but speed of accessing pics on the back can be a pain. Smooth pics on 100 and 200, but 800 and above can be a bit grainy!

I too love mine, for the price they really can't be beat in my opinion.

The choice between the 350D and the 10D was an absolute no-brainer for me.

I'm usually shooting outdoors so the ISO noise issue doesn't really affect me.

Another happy 10D user here - see no reason to "upgrade" to a 20D or 30D that actually feel less well built to me. My photography can live with the limitations of the 10D.

I see absolutely NO REASON to change if you are happy with its performance!

I'm thinking of purchasing another 10D because of the picture quality. I like the 10D raw better than my 5D's large jpg.
The 10D produces a picture pleasing to the eye while the 5D captures evidentuary detail.
I'm an artist not a cop.

I still have a 10D and I didn't know if I should upgrade to 30D or 20D. But seems like everyone knows it's a keeper. I wish I had the cash for the MkIII too.

My only problems are noise at 800 iso, slow startup time. I don't mind about the slow preview. Don't use it that much. You guys are right, it's a keeper! Now I just need to buy a new lens.

I do like it better in IQ than the EOS 1D Mark I that I had bought used. But maybe that IQ was faulty as the flash didn't work, maybe other parts of the camera were bad. Anyone else had both and can tell IQ difference?

Although I don't a 10D, the 1D has some of the best out of camera jpegs around, and their raw files are no slouch either. I plan to buy a 10D as a 2nd/travel body to my 1D. I'd buy a dRebel, but the small buffer and lack of ai servo (unhacked) would bother me as it'll be used as a 2nd sports body. The XT just isn't as good as the 10D in my opinion, and I don't want to spend as much as a 20D costs. For $350-$450 used/refurbished the 10D is an incredible bargain.
