I like when the celebrities tell them to leave them alone, of course the photogs rarely do, and they get smacked around a little because of it

I know if I were to tell someone to back off, and they didn't, I'd definitely jam their camera right in their face :x

Laz are you really Tony Stewart? LOL

While I am not one to chase around after people for a picture remember, the people they target are celebrities. There are sources that buy those pictures and as long as they are willing to mucho, mucho bucks for them there will be a market for that kind of shooter.

I wouldn't mind making $15,000 for a shot of someone, once or twice a month.

I have to admit this..

I would really enjoy being a paparazzi... :)

Don't take it the wromg way,. I don't think I would have the minerals to get in peoples faces and piss them off,. but what I do when "stalking" wildlfe,. trying to get the image WITHOUT disturbing the little critters.. I think that would be a blast with "The Stars" as well.. sort of advanced spy/candids :)

I'd really have a blast.. it's funny I never actually thought of it though untill recently.. my Sister said it to me.. "You should be a paparazzi.. you'd love it"

At first I said,. naaaah,. then I thought about it and had to admit she was right.

Unfortunately... not tooo many stars here in R.I.

It's interesting. We have tons of celebrities here in the desert, but for some reason, they're generally left alone. There appears to be some unwritten rule that they are not to be bothered while here on vacation. Every once in a while, you'll see guys drifting around with press-quality cameras and long lenses, and clearly they're not tourists. Still, they're quite rare as evidenced by the fact that very few 'scandalous' photos ever originate from here. Most recidences here are behind security gates, so the candid topless shots by the pool are nearly impossible to get (although I will volunteer if the National Enquirer really needs such a shot).

I guess the 'money shots' are those where you catch a celbrity going in or out of a night spot in company with the wrong person.

No i agree...if i could get over my morals, it would be a blast. Infact lol..i have to admit, i've been "spying" on these kids for a few weeks now. They ride dirtbikes in the woods that i try and get some peace and quiet. I dont mind it too much, i mean it's not my property (i'm pretty certain the city owns it...). When they show up and scare the hawks away, i've got notihng else to shoot.

Oh yeah, I could definitely do that. That does sound like fun. Stalking wildlife is a good time. I'll bet it would be easier to hide from people, rather than skittish birds, too.

Belmondo you could get past the security gates pretty easy.

First off you get about 800 feet of rope, a lawn chair and about 10-12 very large ballons filled with helium.........

The balloons of choice down here are decidedly hot air---almost every morning and evening there are about a half dozen of them.
Our lawn chairs are cast iron---not a good choice. My recliner probably weighs less.
800ft of rope? That shouldn't be a problem just as soon as I untie myself.

Just don't make the same mistake the other "lawn chair flying" enthusist did and get caught in the jet stream and drift into the final approach pattern for LAX
