Nice action shot. Not overly keen on selective colour jobs but, this ones not to obtrusive.

I like it. I believe it's hard to tell that the man is working on wood if he b&w the whole shot and a full color version is probably too distracting. I would say this is a good image for the website frontpage. Sending out a clear message. :)

Thanks, You are correct about isolating the wood. The site will be for selling his turnings so we really wanted to just focus on that.

I could do w/out the selective color and with a little more of his face. Whatever is in the top left corner is distracting. I do love his hand and I LOVE the wood chips flying.

That's awesome! Just the right shutter speed to get the debris with a slight motion blur.
