Nothing too special, but the thread deserves a bump - my morning coffee (and Halloween pumpkin that hasn't kicked it, yet)

Nice.

Are you doing your own lattes?

Thanks -yes, I'm a bit of a coffee freak, too. I actually took this pic to goad a friend of mine - she's always 'checking-in' at Starbucks, etc, and I keep telling her to spend $800 or so on an entry-level espresso machine and grinder, rather than spend $1000+ annually on inferior coffee!

I'm a Seattlelite. I make my own lattes every morning. I'm a cheap SOB though, $70 Compresso closed system, $70 Compresso bean grinder. Gotta have the jave:D

I actually found a Francis! Francis! X1 on the curb (someone had put it out for recycling!) and I've been pretty hooked since. This is my current coffee set-up, taken while messing around with the TS-E 90 -

Thanks, Windpig! There's a bit of a learning curve with this lens.

What an adorable girl!

Keep playing with the lens - it's worth it!

Thanks, Bill and Tom! Just made an attempt at a full length shot and can't seem to nail the focus to save my life. I sure need contacts.

Two more from today.

I don't use it for most shots since my daughter is constantly moving. It's also a hassle when using strobes and taking her picture. I used live view for the watch.
