what are some good batteries to buy?

8 threads down :P my response is on there, i don't think it matters which flash unit you're using as long as it's good rechargeable batteries you have in there.

Can't go wrong with Sanyo or PowerEx. Energizer 2700's seem to be popular too.

I've got a set of PowerEx 2700's which are awesome. I've also got some Eneloop 200mAh's for backup incase I forget to charge the PowerEx. The Eneloops have a long shelf-life and with still have 85% power after sitting there for a year.
