Question about a630 videos

I recently made some videos using my a630 and once I had uploaded them onto youtube, the audio wouldn't fit with what was actually going on. It's probably what happens to a lot of videos when they are processed and uploaded to the site but is there a way or some kind of setting in which I can avoid this?

I hope this made some kind of sense.

Did you upload the files as shot or did you run them through any post-processing/conversion process? Does this asynchronous sound happen exactly the same every time, and on every computer, when you play the clips?

I uploaded them straight off the memory card, and the sound is off on every computer I've watched them on.

I had trouble recently with a video I shot of a band playing live. When viewing the video straight off the camera the audio was very choppy and cut out a lot. I saved the audio stream out of the file into a separate mp3 and that played fine by itself.

I was then going to recombine the mp3 with the video to see if that fixed things, but so far have not made the time.

Does the video file off the camera play OK on your computer?

Off the camera and the computer the video and audio is in sync, the problem only occurs once the video is uploaded onto youtube.

They probably aren't equipped to stream those particular codec types.

AVI's a wrapper around any number of codecs. Have you uploaded from your A630 before?
