Yes I made "warrantying" up.
The zoom head is not functioning on my flash, the 580EX. I purchased it only a month ago, and have only used it a few times since then. I never switched lenses so I hadn't needed the zoom head in the flash to work. I have a few questions about the warranty process (I'm only 18 and I've never had to warranty anything before, so I'm not too sure how it all works). The warranty card doesn't help much, because it doesn't have any info. Do I just fill out the warranty card and send it to a Canon center of my choice or what? And what do I package with the flash? I assume box and all original contents, as well as possibly a photocopy of a reciept and the warranty card.
Also, should I leave a set of batteries in or take them out when I send it to Canon? I assume take them out, or at least put in non rechargeables, because I don't want to lose my beautiful 2650 mAh duracells to their service center.
Thanks fellas.
