Spent a very enjoyable day at teeside Autodrome. This was a track day the myself and a friend of mine had organised for the ne7ers. These are Lotus, Caterham, Westfield, Locost etc etc enthusiasts who just love hooning around a track and havibg great banter.

The weather started off cold and dull but after lunch the sun shone and it was very pleasant. This was my first outing with the new 300 f/2.8 lens and I think I will need to get used to it as I had quite a few blurry pictures :(

Great photos, if only I could hear the lovely noise which roars along with them. :)

Saw loads of cars heading south as I sat in traffic on the A19 just south of Sunderland on Monday morning, obviously heading to this event. Gutted I couldn't make it along. Nice variety of angles Peter, and congratulations on the new lens.

Cheers,

Simon.

Nicely done Peter. 300 is a nice length for quite good part of that Circuit. Did you meet any of the local rats? :D
Hope you enjoyed the day. Sorry i couldn't make it as we're a bit bust at the moment and short-staffed too, i'll try and make the next one.

Ironically our office is on the Industrial Estate just over the road. As i was leaving to go to site i saw a couple of cars heading in to the circuit. It made the day at work so much fun....not.
