Kit for just getting started

I am just getting started with studio lighting and therefore need a kit at a reasonable price to mainly learn. I've found this kit at B&H http://www.bhphotovide​o.com …ghType=category​Navigation (external link)

It's the Westcott Basics kit.

I would appreciate the help as if this is a total waste of my money, or just perfect for me to get started with.

If it's a total waste of money, can any of you point me in the right direction as to a decently priced kit I might look at buying?
